Tarte au Chocolat

La Tarte au Chocolat is a delicious, traditional french bakery and in comparison with most common cakes, it is baked without powder in order to achieve its wet, chocolatey texture. Chocolate lovers come at their cost and this recipe is suitable as dessert for your guests at any occasion. The preparation is done in no time and practicable for all hobby cooks or even beginners.

Here a list of all ingredients you will need:
  •  4 eggs
  • 150g sugar
  • 200g butter
  • 350g chocolate of your preference
  • pinch of starch
  • pinch of sugar
  • one package vanilla sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder






Preparation

First of all you need to separate all eggs and whisk the egg white until it is stiff, keep it refrigerated then. Melt the chocolate and butter in a water bath. Mix the egg yolk with sugar and vanilla sugar until it becomes creamy and add the melted chocolate, cocoa powder, starch, salt and butter. Finally, stir in the whisk egg carefully and with lots of love because air bubbles are crucial for the fluffiness of the cake. Preheat your oven to approximately 200 degree Celsius at above and under heat. Every oven is individual but on average it should take 30 - 45 minutes since the cake is supposed to be as thin as 4 cm.
