Curry Sausage German Street Style


This famous German fast food recipe is a very tasty fusion of exotic spices and Germany's traditionally delicious sausages. There are stalls all over Germany and Europe proving that the "Curry-wurst" is one of the most popular food to go. The main difference between curry sausages is the recipe for the curry sauce, of which every shop has its own, unique recipe and the cook typically makes a big secret out of it !






How to prepare an amazing curry-sauce for your sausage ? 
First of all, you will need the following Ingredients:
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 150 ml tomato juice
  • 1/4 banana
  • a little tomato paste
  • 100 ml apple puree
  • 30 g honey
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 3 tablespoon mustard
  • 200 ml ketchup
  • salt & pepper
  • chili - as much as you want !
  • a little coriander powder
  • 4 tablespoons madras curry
  • 2 tablespoons turmeric
  • a pinch of cumin 

Instructions:
 
Simply boil the tomato juice, then dice the shallot,  garlic, add all ingredients and voila - your perfect curry sauce for your favorite sausage is finished. It is recommended to fry the curry in a separate pan in order to intensify all the mouthwatering aromas before you add it to the sauce. Another great thing is that you can keep the sauce for about one week refrigerated in a closed container without worries.
Finally, serve you sausage with sauce and powder curry on top !
